A pilgrimage in Spain

We tend to exist between obsessions, always.  If it is not one thing then it is a totally different thing. We are just leaving on a journey to Spain. We are going to "the way of Saint James " better known as the el Camino, a series of trails that lead to Santiago de compostella.  The significance of the destination is that, it is where the remains of St. James lie. We shall be taking the via de la plata "way" which starts in the south of Spain. We will be starting half way along, at the 500 km mark, a town called Salamanca.
We have our back pack weight down to 16-17 lbs each, and although we are keen to get walking, we are stuck in Kamloops airport waiting for a delayed flight.

Our plane is finally here so away we go
